Every price links to the advert it came from. Pounds stay in pounds and euros in euros, because converting them would turn exchange rates, VAT and import costs into differences between the objects.

Opened one by one
Each advert is opened at the source and checked for reference, price, year, mileage and seller. Private sellers and adverts without a price are left out.
Same objects, every month
The list is rechecked on the 1st of each month and nothing is overwritten, so each tracker builds a dated history of asking prices.
Asking, not paid
These are prices dealers ask. What cars and watches actually sell for is usually lower, and the gap is not public.
